We will be listed on Fox 8's Daycare Closings & Delays.

We will also be listed on NewsNet 5's School Closing Listing.

How do the listings work?
Morning closings will be cleared from the system at 9:35 a.m. Afternoon closings will be cleared from system at 7:35 p.m. Schools are instructed to call after 8 p.m. for next day closings.

Rule of thumb: If you see something before 9:35 a.m. it's for today -- if it's after 9:35 a.m. it's for the afternoon/evening of today. Before 7:35 p.m. it's for today. If it's after 7:35 p.m. it's for tomorrow.

Both WKYC and WTAM newsrooms operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. When you call, your information is instantaneously sent to our control room computers for broadcast on-air and on the web.

Who is behind iAlert?
iAlert is a free service, operated by WKYC-TV and NEWSRADIO WTAM 1100.

Our intent is to improve the closing and delay process so schools can reach the most media outlets with one call.

A list of participating television and radio stations, including all of the Clear Channel Radio Stations in the Cleveland area, is below.
