Rockport Early Childhood Center

Tour Information

First, we would like to thank you for considering Rockport Early Childhood Center for your childcare needs! Tours are available Mondays through Fridays 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The tours generally take about thirty to sixty minutes. We ask that you call 440-331-9434 to schedule an appointment for a tour, so that we may have appropriate coverage for the office during the time of the tour. Naptime is during the hours of 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., so you might want to avoid that period, as the Center will be darkened and inactive.

Welcome

Once you come in, you will be receiving a tour of our fine Center and will come to learn about our loving staff and our solid commitment to teaching and caring for your children. The foundation we have created comes from more than twenty-five years of serving the community with a dedication to excellence in the field of early childhood education.

During your tour, you will also have the opportunity to ask your questions specific to your child(ren)’s needs and what you can expect from our Center and staff. Depending on your needs, the tour can take from thirty to sixty minutes. What you can expect in this timeframe is the following:

A general walking tour of Rockport Early Childhood Center
A tour of the classrooms specific to your child(ren)’s age(s)
Answers to your questions or observations while touring
An overview of our relationship to the Rockport United Methodist Church and the building that we share

We hope you find this tour enjoyable and informative. Please feel free to ask any and all questions of the staff member who is coordinating your tour or call again with any questions after you return home. We want you to feel comfortable with the information that you have received enough to make a decision that they Rockport Early Childhood Center will provide a caring and secure environment for your child(ren).

We have a waiting list for all of our care. This is why we ask that you come and take a tour of our facility prior to being put on the waiting list. If you decide after the tour that Rockport is a place that you wish your child to be a part of, we will then put your child(ren) on our waiting list.

[PROSPECTIVE PARENTS: Please note: filling out any paper work (the wait list sheet or any downloaded enrollment forms) does not imply that your child(ren) have been accepted for admission. You must first come in for a tour. You will receive a phone call from either the Director or Coordinator to set up an Orientation Day. It is at that time you are accepted and fill out the paper work.]
